Scum

Mixo lowunene eka n'wina hinkwenu!! This week was indeed a good week! Kinda crazy, but altogether pretty grand I'd say! So let's get to it, eh?

Monday
Monday was pretty basic: regular pday activities and the like; that evening was calls, and we actually found someone!! Her name is Magalie, and she's pretty cool!

I got to call my fam that evening as usual, but this was the last time I'd talk to Thomas for a while, because he's a missionary now, and we have different pdays. 😥

Tuesday
We had a call with our new amigo Colleen that morning, and then we hopped in the car to head to DC [District Council]! It's so weird and quite nice to have DC at our building. (It's a LOT closer than Wisconsin Rapids EVER was to Marshfield, that's for sure lol)

DC was excellent as usual! It started at 11:00am this time instead of 10, so we went a bit over, but that was alright!

We went to Popeyes for lunch; I'm not the biggest fan, and neither was Sister Goetz. We were quite sad about it. But that's where everyone else wanted to go. I miss La Taqaria.

That evening we had dinner with the Hohnekes again because we were going to be in Cedarburg, which is half an hour away from us, but right where they live. We had an EXCELLENT time with them, as always, and we're looking forward to seeing them again!

We had a lesson with our amigo Isaac, but he didn't answer. So sad. We also stopped by a bunch of less actives over there. One answered and we had a BOMb lesson with her!! It was a tender mercy actually. :)

Wednesday
Absolutely nothing exciting happened this day except for ward Correlation over Zoom. We went to Chick-fil-A for dinner as well, which was absolutely delicious.

Thursday
We had a member take us to Costco this day, and THAT was AMAZING!! We had a shopping list prepared of 4 things (Mac and cheese, cheese, milk, and popcorn. All very me sounding things, but Sister Goetz agrees no worries lol). We ended up with an entire trunk full of groceries because the member informed us we needed more than that, and that we should eat more healthy lol.

We did weekly planning of course; always my favorite thing.

We had a really great lesson with Adriene our RC [recent convert].

Friday
We had brunch with some members and our friend Steven.

We had dinner with the Debroux's; they took us out to eat. They were gunna take us to Costco, but we already did that this week lol.

We also found Hector, but he was lowkey flirting with us so we passed him off to the APs [Assistants to the President].

Saturday
We called a crap ton of less actives this day which was awesome! Not many answered, but that's alright; it was still good to do!

We had dinner with the Ottos and did the paper airplane lesson. Most successful version I ever did of it.

Sunday!
Had our on-date [for baptism] friend Nancy planning to come to church, but she didn't respond at all Sunday morning, and church was at noon, and we literally were late to church and brought a member with us and knocked on her door to PICK HER UP but she still didn't respond. I was kinda ticked, but we took 100% responsibility and that's all we can do. The member was really understanding too.

We sat by Pres and Sister Hansen in church which was awesome!! I love them LOTS!!

We had a lesson with the members who provided us with dinner; they were sick tho so they just gave us food and we shared a message at the door.

We came home and ate dinner and watch the new Chosen episode go live on fb [Facebook] which was really good.

We had the mission prayer call that night and found out who would be training the 3 new Hmong Elders which was mega hype.

Today!!!
Today was district pday which is why this is so late. It was AWESOME, and we played scum and partied it up, but it left me with zero time to write this. Hope y'all had a good week!

I'll upload photos but no titles; sorry, guys. Love yous!!

We can do this!
¡Sí se puede!
